Job Title: Licensed Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians

Duration: 3-4 months

Job Overview:

Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring Licensed Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for a commercial project in Erie, PA. The ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience in commercial electrical installations, along with an OSHA 10 certification. This is a 3-4 month project, offering a competitive pay rate and benefits.

Licensed Journeyman and Apprentice Electrician Key Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to relevant codes.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Use tools and equipment effectively, including power tools and testing devices.
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
• Follow blueprints to ensure wiring or equipment is in the correct location and meets safety standards.
• Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, and pull insulated wires or cables through to complete circuits.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including digging trenches and lifting heavy objects.
• Work with EMT conduit, and have experience with rigid conduit.
• Handle power distributions (transformers, panels, etc.).
• Perform wire pulls (large and small) with minimal supervision.
• Establish a positive teamwork environment and ensure effective communication.

Licensed Journeyman and Apprentice Electrician Qualifications:

• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship is preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10 certification is mandatory.
• First Aid/CPR/AED and Arc Flash training are a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
• Must have basic hand tools and be proficient in their use.
• Experience with power tools is a plus.

Licensed Journeyman and Apprentice Electrician Compensation and Benefits:

• $28 - $35 per hour based on experience.
