About the Role:

You will provide clinical and counseling services to clients. The therapist will use appropriate interventions and psychotherapy modalities to assist the client in reaching their specific identified goals. Collaborate with other behavioral health specialists and provide individual and group therapy to improve or assist the client's capacity for functioning. Clinicians must be comfortable and available to perform in-the-field services, be flexible with their hours, utilize creative interventions, and truly meet the client where they are emotionally. This is NOT a remote position. Full and part time opportunities are available.


Responsibilities:

  • Complete initial assessment of identified patient, assessing client's strengths, weakness, challenges, and abilities and ensure all appropriate intake information and documentation is completed.
  • Utilizes specific therapeutic modalities that will best suit client needs.
  • Identify specific psychological interventions to assist client in reaching their goals.
  • Provide individual and group counseling.
  • Provide vocational, experiential, and family counseling/coaching as needed.
  • Collaborate with other community resources and referral sources to coordinate services for client.
  • Provide crisis intervention and documentation when necessary.
  • The clinician will provide over the phone assistance to family and/or client when necessary.
  • Maintains appropriate state license for scope of practice.
  • Provide feedback and consultation to treatment team members regarding patient presentation and progress.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist(LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor(LPCC) or Associates working toward these licenses.
  • Previous experience with schizophrenic, persistently mentally ill, homeless and substance abuse
  • Detailed knowledge of counseling and group therapy theories
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Some experience and knowledge in working with trauma
