What We're Looking For

The Right Person:

• Licensed therapist (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) in California
• Clinical expertise working with both youth and adults
• Interest in potentially facilitating group therapy
• Hardworking, curious, and eager to learn
• Smart, collaborative, trustworthy team player who brings energy and enthusiasm
• Has good clinical judgment, can work independently with support
• Someone who's excited about joining a lively, supportive practice environment
• Ready to step away from the isolation of solo practice and focus on clinical work
• Looking to build a private practice in the South Bay area
• Lives within reasonable commuting distance of Hermosa Beach
• Roles and Responsibilities: Individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, family conflict, acting out behavior, and social skills challenges. Family therapy as needed to assist when working with children and adolescents or if a family is the unit of treatment. Possible group work if needed, guidance and training provided. Community engagement-possible speaking gigs and interaction with the schools. Please look at practice website to gain an understanding of our work in the community and telehealth in CA.

Financial & Benefits Package:

• Competitive 60/40 split (you keep 60%)

• Flexible scheduling: daytime and afternoon/evening hours, or Saturday hours if preferred to accommodate work and school schedules

• Largely in-person practice with telehealth options for California clients
• Full-time position (approximately 25 client hours per week)
• Supportive team of eight clinicians
