Line Cook at Belly of the Beast

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team with two to three years of experience. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties:

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Proficient knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, including grilling, baking, frying, and sautéing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
