About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our award-winning kitchen team. This role is ideal for cooks who are eager to sharpen their craft, contribute to menu innovation, and be a part of one of Chicago’s most exciting culinary movements.

What You’ll Do
Culinary Execution & Innovation

  • Execute seasonal, chef-driven dishes with an emphasis on bold flavors, precision, and creative plating

  • Work confidently across multiple stations—sauté, grill, garde manger, expo—with consistency and focus

  • Help develop and test new dishes, bringing fresh ideas to the kitchen table

  • Highlight vegetables and plant-forward cuisine with the same reverence as traditional proteins

Creative & Technical Skill Building

  • Refine techniques in knife work, sauce making, fermentation, and vegan/vegetarian preparation

  • Elevate plating presentations—where visual artistry meets flavor

  • Embrace modern and classical methods that reflect our commitment to both innovation and craft

Kitchen Culture & Collaboration

  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and sanitary station in a high-performance kitchen

  • Work alongside a passionate team in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment

  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings and contribute to operational improvements and service excellence

  • Embody a mindset of continuous growth, accountability, and hospitality

Who You Are

  • 2+ years experience in professional kitchens—fine dining, Michelin-level, or upscale casual preferred

  • A strong understanding of seasonality, local sourcing, and sustainable cooking practices

  • A passion for plant-forward cuisine and a desire to push creative boundaries

  • Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and motivated by excellence

  • A team player with humility, hustle, and a deep respect for the craft
