Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook at Dutchy’s, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for outstanding cuisine. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Dutchy’s recipes and standards. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash. Assist with inventory and stock rotation. Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils. Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Ability to work in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
