We here at Miller and Lux are looking for a full time employee to work 5 days a week. Weekend availability is a must. Experience in a steakhouse is a plus,

Requirements:

Experience working in a professional kitchen.
Grill experience is preferred
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Respectful to others, maintain a positive work environment with coworkers and guests.
Have organizational skills. Work with a sense of urgency, while maintaining an attention to detail.
Current food handler card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Set-up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
Grill station experience is needed with comprehensive knowledge of steaks and cooking temperatures
Menu knowledge. Learning of entire menu to assist across multiple stations.
Adherence to company's quality standards, making sure all dishes prepared are consistent and accurate.
Report to Sous Chefs and Chef de Cuisine and follow all instructions accordingly.
Break down and clean up station. Track and record station inventory for prep list the following day.
Keep a safe environment, making sure all equipment is turned off and stored properly.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs regular.
