Job Description:
Yamashiro Hollywood is seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to preparing high-quality food in an upscale environment, ensuring consistency and efficiency while maintaining the standards of excellence expected at Yamashiro. As a Line Cook, you will work closely with our chefs to create exquisite dishes, uphold food safety standards, and deliver an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant's menu and presentation standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring all equipment and utensils are in good working order

• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage, handling, and cleanliness

• Ensure all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner

• Work as a team with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and effective kitchen environment

• Stay updated with menu changes, special events, and seasonal ingredients

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a fine dining kitchen or related culinary experience

• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety protocols

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude

• A passion for food and creativity, with a strong attention to detail
