Litigation Associate - Defense at Ave Staffing Legal Specialists

Our regional law firm client is a well-respected provider is searching for a Litigation Associate with defense experience for its Atlanta, GA office. This position will play a key role in representing clients in a variety of legal disputes and proceedings, with a focus on insurance defense cases. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support the firm's litigation efforts
- Prepare and file a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Participate in the discovery process, including conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and responding to discovery requests
- Represent clients in court proceedings, such as hearings, depositions, and trials
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategies
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and court rulings to ensure the firm's compliance

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- 2-5 years of experience as a litigation associate, with a focus on insurance defense
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Thorough knowledge of civil litigation procedures and rules of evidence
- Specialized expertise in insurance defense
