Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of litigation experience, construction-related experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Support a busy litigation team in managing matters from investigation through resolution or trial

Draft pleadings, handle discovery, take and defend depositions, and argue motions

Analyze contracts, including indemnity and insurance provisions; construction law experience is a plus

Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and trial settings

Contribute to case strategy, client communication, and risk assessment


Minimum Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar
2+ years of litigation experience
Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
Excellent judgment, communication, and case management abilities

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with construction statutes such as RCW Chapter 64.50 and related Washington laws

Construction-related litigation preferred, but not required

Ability to manage multiple high-level cases with limited supervision
Background in advising clients on risk mitigation, claims handling, or insurance strategy
