Litigation Associate (White Collar Defense) - New York at Direct Counsel

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 law firm seeking a Litigation Associate to join its White-Collar Defense & Investigations Practice in Century City. This practice group represents leading corporations, financial institutions, and executives in high-stakes government investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, and white-collar criminal defense matters.

• Represent clients in complex white collar criminal litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and internal corporate investigations.

• Advise clients on compliance with federal and state regulations, including securities laws, anti-corruption laws, FCPA, and anti-money laundering statutes.

• Work directly with government agencies including the DOJ, SEC, and other regulatory bodies.

• Conduct legal research, draft legal memoranda, motions, and responses to subpoenas and investigatory requests.

• Assist in trial preparation, interviews, and strategy development for defense matters.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to become a member.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in white collar litigation or government enforcement work.

• Demonstrated experience in government investigations, internal investigations, and enforcement defense, particularly in matters involving securities fraud, anti-corruption, or regulatory compliance.

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple high-stakes matters simultaneously.
