Litigation Associate (Jr. to mid level) - Northern Virginia at Direct Counsel

Direct Counsel is representing an Amlaw 100 firm in the search for a junior to mid-level Associate to join its Litigation Practice in Northern Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters for clients across a variety of industries in a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Analyze legal issues, conduct research, and draft briefs for complex litigation matters, including state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, class certification motions, writs, and appeals.

• Support trial preparation, including participation in taking and defending depositions and attending hearings.

• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to develop strategic approaches to client matters.

• Manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

• Admission to the Virginia Bar is required.

• Junior to mid-level litigation experience with exposure to complex civil litigation matters.

• Strong analytical, writing, and research skills.

• Trial preparation experience, including depositions and hearings, is preferred.

This is a full-time, onsite role in Northern Virginia, providing significant exposure to complex litigation matters and the opportunity to develop within a nationally recognized, AmLaw 100 litigation team.
