Key Responsibilities
Handle complex litigation and regulatory enforcement matters related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
Provide legal counseling on compliance with privacy laws including U.S., EU, and APEC regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on privacy risk assessments and data breach response.
Support clients in government investigations and privacy-related class action defense.
Stay current on emerging legal and technological issues impacting data protection.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in California, D.C., or New York.
Minimum 3 years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, or related litigation.
Experience with government regulation, global privacy frameworks, and data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Demonstrated technical aptitude or familiarity with how modern technologies function.
CIPP certification (Certified Information Privacy Professional) is a plus.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to work with global clients and teams.
