A well-established super-regional law firm with a national client base is seeking a skilled Construction Litigation Attorney to join its growing Tampa office. Position OverviewWe are looking for a Construction Associate with 4+ years of experience, ideally with a focus on construction litigation and related commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a litigation caseload independently, while also contributing to a dynamic, team-oriented practice group.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of construction-related litigation in state and federal courts
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Advise clients on risk management, contract disputes, and project-related claims
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal teams to develop litigation strategies
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably in construction or commercial law
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
