Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced personal injury attorney to join our firm. In this role you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through settlement negotiation. You will diligently represent our clients' interests and ensure they receive fair compensation for their injuries.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategically litigate personal injury cases by working up case files
  • Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, oppositions, and other legal documents to advance case progression
  • Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions
  • Prepare, conduct, and defend percipient and expert depositions
  • Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in court
  • Draft mediation briefs, attend mediation, and actively participate in negotiating settlements
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess case values
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and discuss case developments
  • Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials in case the case goes to trial
  • Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court hearings
  • Manage and provide guidance to litigation assistants and paralegals

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing
  • 5+ years of Personal Injury Attorney experience required
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate commitment to client advocacy, integrity, and professionalism
  • Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills

Compensation:

Salary Range: $120,000 – $200,000+ (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
