Litigation Attorney – Insurance Defense & Tort Litigation
Location: New Orleans, LA
Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 base
About the Opportunity
Our client, a prominent law firm with offices across the U.S., is hiring a Litigation Attorney for a non-shareholder track role in Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy litigation group focused on tort and insurance defense matters.
This role is ideal for an attorney with strong academic credentials, a solid defense litigation background, and the ability to independently manage cases from start to finish. Trial experience in both state and federal courts is a strong plus.
What You’ll Do
● Independently manage a caseload of litigation matters
● Handle depositions, motion practice, and discovery
● Work closely with expert witnesses and clients
● Draft pleadings and argue motions in court
● Support litigation strategy and case development
What You Bring
● 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or tort matters
● Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
● Ability to manage depositions, hearings, and client strategy
● Louisiana Bar admission (active and in good standing)
● Strong academic background and stable employment history
