The Housing Authority of Jackson County (HAJC) is seeking a Site Manager for Cathedral Square, a multifamily affordable housing property. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-accountability, people-centered work, balancing compassion with clear policy enforcement, handling lease compliance, supporting tenants, and making sure the property is safe, clean, and welcoming every single day.

What Youll Do:
Be the face of the property. Youll interact with tenants dailyanswering questions, resolving complaints, and supporting lease compliance in a calm, fair, and respectful manner.
Support lease-up and move-ins. Show units, assist with forms, check tenants into units, and educate them on housekeeping and property standards.
Oversee community upkeep. Walk the grounds regularly, flag hazards, post notices, conduct inspections, and perform light maintenance (like changing lightbulbs or alarm batteries).
Respond to emergencies. Use sound judgment during conflicts or crises. Be ready to mediate disputes, call in reinforcements, or escalate serious issues to the Portfolio Manager.
Document everything. Youll monitor lease compliance, issue notices, track rent payments, log maintenance issues, and report lease violations clearly and promptly.
Promote community. Youll help maintain a safe, respectful, and stable environment where tenants feel supported and property standards are upheld.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of experience in property management, housing programs, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of landlord-tenant laws, occupancy standards, and public housing compliance.
Excellent communication skillsverbal, written, and digital.
Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record (Oregon license required within 30 days of hire).
Pay & Benefits:
Wage: $16.00 per hour (35 hours per week), 2-bedroom apartment with utilities paid.
Benefits: Full health coverage (medical, dental, vision) with 95% of employee premiums paid by HAJC. Making our plans very affordable
Retirement: Oregon PERS retirement with 6% employee contribution fully covered by HAJC.
