Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Front Desk / Lodge Attendant to serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests at our Lodge, located within a vibrant 55+ community. This individual plays a key role in ensuring every interaction is welcoming, informative, and efficient. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working independently, excels in multitasking, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet residents and guests with warmth and professionalism
- Check in residents using Zen Planner; process payments using our POS system
- Assist residents with registration for programs, events, and online reservations
- Distribute welcome packages and community information to new residents
- Respond to general inquiries and direct guests appropriately
- Answer multi-line phones, take accurate messages, and forward calls
- Maintain a clean and professional front desk, lobby, and common areas
- Perform daily room setups for fitness classes, social events, and meetings
- Enter and manage data using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Track attendance, badge records, and shift reports with accuracy
- Replenish complimentary supplies and assist with mail/package delivery
- Complete opening/closing checklists and follow facility procedures
- Comply with access control and emergency response protocols
- Attend required trainings and staff meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or front desk experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, POS systems, and general computer use
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems (up to 9 lines)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
- CPR/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Experience working in a community setting, HOA, or hospitality environment
- Familiarity with Zen Planner or similar facility management software

Physical Requirements

- Professional attire required: Business Casual
