Low Voltage Specialized Technician DMP Alarm Panels and Access Control at ModTech Systems

We are currently seeking a Low Voltage Specialized Technician! We are currently in need of someone with Access Control experience, Preferably DMP Panels and wiring. We need someone who is efficient yet provides neat, clean and professional results. We need speed but can’t compromise on quality, especially with the wire management side. We deal with numerous other low voltage systems including: Networking, Security, Cameras, and energy management systems. This is a traveling position, we work out of town 90% of the time. Looking for some one who can self manage and self motivate as well as complete necessary task in an acceptable time frame. Salary/hourly wage will be based on your experience and attitude. Hotels and Per Diem is provided. Great pay and a great company to work for.

Responsibilities:

• Install and wire Access Control Equipment, ie Mag locks, Door strikes, contacts and DMP control modules
• Manage, Dress, and terminate network wires in an IT Rack (Cat6e Keystones & RJ45’s)
• Install and repair low voltage equipment and sensors
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot access control and security systems
• Pulling various types of high and low voltage wire
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes

​​Qualifications:

• 3-5 years specific Previous experience in low voltage, networking or other related fields
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with low voltage equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Leadership Qualities
• Good Time management
