Low Voltage Technician at Griffon Systems, Inc.

Griffon Systems is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Field Installation Engineer to join and lead a growing technical team. This role focuses on the installation and maintenance of enterprise-level video surveillance and access control systems for our expanding client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain access control systems using Avigilon ACM and HID/Mercury hardware
• Deploy and service IP video surveillance systems based on Avigilon ACC, Verkada
• Implement and maintain wireless infrastructure for security systems using Ubiquiti and Siklu (PTP/PTMP)
• Perform preventive maintenance on installed systems to ensure continued performance and reliability
• Source and manage materials for projects, particularly related to door hardware
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field with a client-focused approach
• Collaborate with internal team members while also working independently in the field
• Apply creative thinking to deliver effective solutions on complex installations

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with Avigilon ACC and ACM, HID/Mercury hardware, Verkada
• Strong familiarity with Ubiquiti and Siklu wireless technologies
• Ability to interpret and create wiring diagrams and technical schematics
• Proficient with tools, troubleshooting, and configuring IP-based systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites
