We combine craftsmanship, innovation, and cutting-edge home technology to create homes that are as functional as they are beautiful. Every project we take on is built to the highest standard — and that includes the technology systems behind the walls.
About the Position
We’re seeking experienced Low-Voltage Technicians and Lead Installers to join our growing team near the denver area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on exceptional new-construction homes and be part of a company that values precision, quality, and teamwork.
Whether you’re an experienced AV installer looking to grow your skills or a seasoned professional ready to lead a crew, we want to hear from you. The right candidates will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for technology, and pride in delivering a flawless finish.
Responsibilities
- Perform structured low-voltage pre-wiring and trim-out in luxury new-construction homes
- Install, configure, and test AV, networking, and control systems
- Work with and program Control4 and Lutron systems (experience preferred)
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and design teams to ensure smooth installations
- Maintain clean, organized wiring and accurate system documentation
- Troubleshoot, test, and verify system performance and reliability
For Lead-Level Candidates
- Lead and oversee AV/low-voltage installation teams
- Coordinate multiple project phases from rough-in through final trim-out
- Communicate with builders, designers, and homeowners to ensure seamless integration
- Train and mentor technicians to uphold Flatiron’s quality standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential low-voltage, AV, or home automation experience
- Strong understanding of wiring standards, signal flow, and system integration
- Proficiency with Control4 and Lutron lighting, shading, and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and professional in all client interactions
Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience and role ($50,000–$70,000+)
- Health insurance stipend
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match
- Paid Time Off (PTO) and sick days
- Work with a collaborative, detail-driven team on high-end, one-of-a-kind homes
