Job Title: Machinist - 1st and 2nd shift available

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Machinists to join our team, specializing in Vertical Mills and other CNC machines. This position is for the 2nd Shift, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, located in Alliance, OH. You will be working in a job shop environment where you will operate, maintain, and edit CNC machines, including Mills, Manual Lathes, Brake Presses, and Lasers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines such as Mills, Manual Lathes, Brake Presses, and Lasers.
• Make machine edits and tool changes.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use calipers and micrometers to ensure parts remain within tolerance.
• Work in a production shop with shorter run times.
• Utilize G&M Code for machining on steel, stainless, and brass materials.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of machining experience with Vertical Mills, Brake Presses, or CNC Lasers.
• Experience in setup and tear down of machines.
• Editing capabilities and tool change expertise.
• Consistent job tenure with at least 4 years per company.

Work Environment

The facility, built in 2021, is very clean, safe, and climate controlled. Employees may work overtime, typically 45-50 hours per week, with occasional 10 to 12-hour shifts as needed, primarily on the production side. The company utilizes state-of-the-art machinery and manufactures over 10,000 parts for a variety of industries, including data centers, vessels, and both industrial and residential sectors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alliance, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
