Job Title: Die Cast Process Technician
Department: Die Cast Manufacturing Engineering
Reports To: Manufacturing Engineer
Reports To: Manufacturing Engineer
Pay Range: $22.00/hr up to $27.00/hr (depending on experience)
Summary:
The Die Cast Process Technician ensures stable manufacturing processes, troubleshoots production issues, and supports new product launches and continuous improvement projects. Success is measured by Overall Equipment Efficiency (Production Effectivity, Up-Time, and Quality Yield). Responsibilities include monitoring processes, defining process limits, assisting with new products, and participating in improvement projects.

Essential Duties:
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes, addressing issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Define and document process limits.
- Support new product launches and improvements in process efficiency.
- Utilize troubleshooting tools and ensure process compliance.
- Maintain safety standards and 5S initiatives.
Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of die casting processes and equipment.
- Ability to set up, program, and troubleshoot die casting machinery.
- Proficient in communication and documentation; knowledge of safety programs.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to moving parts, fumes, extreme heat, and varying noise levels.
- Requires PPE: safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, ear protection.
