We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Mailroom Assistant to join our team in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our daily operations by managing physical and electronic documentation and ensuring the efficient distribution of mail. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to work in a structured environment while utilizing a company-provided vehicle for local travel.
Responsibilities:
• Drive a company-provided vehicle to various locations to collect and transport important documentation.
• Organize and verify the accuracy of paperwork collected from multiple stations.
• File physical documents at the corporate office in compliance with established procedures.
• Scan and convert physical documents into digital files, ensuring proper categorization within the electronic filing system.
• Maintain both physical and digital filing systems to ensure organization and accessibility.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure timely completion and filing of required documentation.
• Handle mailroom tasks, including sorting, distributing incoming mail, and managing outgoing mail.
• Adhere to all driving and safety regulations while operating the company vehicle.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and in good condition.• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using scanners and electronic filing systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines consistently.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in administrative, filing, or mailroom roles preferred.
• Capability to lift and transport document boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
