In this role you will ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building through routine procedures and special work orders.

Ready to be our maintenance superhero? We're on the lookout for a fantastic Maintenance Assistant to join our dream team in {NAME}, United States. As our go-to fixer-upper, you'll be the guardian of our facilities, ensuring our community stays safe, comfy, and running smoother than a freshly oiled machine!

• Become the master of the work order universe, conquering maintenance projects with gusto!
• Transform empty apartments into move-in ready palaces fit for royalty (or at least very happy tenants)
• Play "Tetris" with maintenance supplies, keeping everything organized and well-stocked
• Channel your inner MacGyver as you tackle a variety of maintenance marvels, including:

   

  • Plumbing wizardry (no magic wand required)
  • Electrical enlightenment (sparks of genius welcome)
  • Carpentry craftsmanship (be the Bob Vila of our community)
  • Painting prowess (channeling your inner Picasso)
  • Equipment whispering (coax those machines back to life)
  • Snow banishing (seasonal superpower activation)
  • Landscape legerdemain (green thumb not mandatory, but appreciated)

   

   

• Join forces with your fellow maintenance Avengers to save the day, every day
• Be the maintenance messenger extraordinaire, keeping residents and staff in the loop
• Don your safety cape and keep your work zone squeaky clean
• Earn your superhero salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour of awesomeness

• High school diploma or equivalent (because even superheroes need education!)
• General mechanical and/or electrical knowledge preferred (bonus points if you can fix a toaster with your eyes closed)
• Sherlock Holmes-level problem-solving skills and eagle-eye attention to detail
• Communication skills so smooth, you could sell ice to a penguin (while being friendly and professional, of course)
• Self-motivation that would make a caffeine-fueled squirrel jealous
• Ability to work solo or as part of our maintenance Avengers team
• Muscles and moves to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects (cape optional but recommended)
• Basic computer skills for managing work orders and sending witty emails
• Flexibility to adapt faster than a chameleon in a rainbow factory
• Valid driver's license may be required (time-travel license not necessary... yet)
• Previous maintenance or handyman experience is a plus (if you've successfully assembled IKEA furniture, you're halfway there!)
• Customer service skills that would make {NAME} proud
• Time management skills rivaling a Swiss watch
• Available to work weekends (because maintenance emergencies don't take days off, and neither do we!)
