Job Overview:

TheControls Technician will assume basic tasks relating to theproduction machines and will troubleshoot electrical and Mechanicalproblems on equipment. This position is responsible for observingequipment to provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor asneeded.

Highlights of your role:

Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor,providing feedback and ideas before any implementation of controlschanges. (i.e. wiring changes, programming changes, or part changeout such as VFD, servo motors)

Observes functioning of installed equipment to detecthazards, problems and the need forservice.

Learn the skillsrequired to navigate PLC Programming.

Workefficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PMmaintenance throughout the plant.

Traces problems using electrical, electronic,pneumatic, and hydraulic components.

Maintains backups of programs from all electricaldevices.

Proper use a digitalmultimeter.

Works closely withmaintenance and is able to assist with troubleshooting electricalproblems.

Concisely and accuratelydocuments set-points and parameters forequipment.

You're a good fit ifyou have (or if you can):

2-years experience in aclosely related role is required

Associate’s degree in a technical-related field isstrongly preferred

Mustbe able to obtain forklift and aerial platformlicenses

To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual should have Enterprise Asset Managementsoftware experience and ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suiteprograms proficiently

Disciplines received within the last 6 months mayaffect eligibility for thisopportunity
