Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, possibly Saturday's, Day Shift: 4:00am-4:00pm, Swing Shift: 1:00pm-10:30pm, and Night Shift: 4:00pm-4:00am
Pay Rate: $28-$34 per hour
Location: San Martin, CA
Experience: At least 1 year of industry experience

Maintenance Electrician Job Duties include:

• Repair and Installation: Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment, mechanical systems, and electrical components.

• Electrical Wiring: Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment being introduced to the plant.

• Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and accurately determine the most effective methods to correct them.

• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Perform routine preventive maintenance actions—including inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters, following established checklists—to ensure all production machines perform at an optimal level.

• Part Replacement: Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.

• Equipment Access: Safely dismantle equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools to gain access to and remove defective parts.

• Lubrication and Cleaning: Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation and longevity.

• Documentation & Tools:

• Review and comprehend blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete assigned tasks.

• Operate the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Fundamentals: Execute daily and business fundamentals.

• Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as assigned by management.

Maintenance Electrician Preferred Skills include:

• Certifications: Technical or vocational school certification related to industrial maintenance or a similar field.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Maintenance Electrician Requirements may include:

• At least 5 years of maintenance experience.

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles.

• Comprehension: Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions.

• Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.

• Ability to perform tasks requiring extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, and climbing, including working with fall protection equipment.

• Able to perform job tasks in challenging working conditions, including areas that are dusty, hot, and/or cold, and working both inside and outside.
