Location: Birmingham, AL
Salary: $90,000- $95,000/year + Bonus (10-12%/year)

Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance team, ensuring that all maintenance activities are executed efficiently and safely. This role involves managing maintenance operations, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reliability in the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team in day-to-day operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance activities for industrial equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies to improve maintenance efficiency and workspace organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or management in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices, including preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and machinery.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
