Maintenance tech Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role is critical in maintaining operational productivity and safety in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose issues with mechanical systems and perform troubleshooting as necessary
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
  • Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs efficiently
  • Document maintenance activities and report any major repairs needed to management
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal performance of equipment
  • Adhere to GMP processes and safety regulations during all maintenance tasks
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance mechanics is a plus
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems
  • Strong understanding of GMP processes and compliance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues effectively
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment maintenance practices
  • Familiarity with power tools and mechanical diagnostics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
