Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.
  • Conduct emergency or breakdown maintenance to support plant operations.
  • Reference equipment manuals and other technical literature.
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.
  • Use measurement and test equipment accurately.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations as needed.
  • Safely operate the boiler and maintain adequate operating steam pressure (> 180 PSI).

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles.
  • Electrical inclination with experience in swapping motors and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • PLC logic lookup and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints, including German prints.
  • Experience working with 480 volt systems.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems (boilers).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to perform duties with or without accommodation.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Accurate use and reading of various measuring devices.
  • Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills.
  • Ability to learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a team member.

This is a Permanent position based out of Crawfordsville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69784.00 - $69784.00/yr.
