Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This position involves approximately 60% reactionary maintenance and 40% preventative maintenance. You will work with a 50/50 split between mechanical and electrical systems. Your tasks will include diagnosing electrical systems, running power wires, identifying electrical drops and ground faults, and performing mechanical/electrical work on machines such as resistance welders, presses, molding machines, and robotic arms. The equipment ranges from older to newer models, ensuring varied day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems.
• Run power wires and identify electrical drops and ground faults.
• Perform mechanical and electrical work on various machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks.
• Work with PLCs and robotic systems.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot 480v systems.
• Capability to troubleshoot 3-phase motors.
• Proficiency in reading hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
• Experience in preventive maintenance.
• Own necessary tools.

Work Environment

The position is available on the 2nd shift, from 3pm to 10pm, in a union facility. Overtime is voluntary and employees work every other weekend.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55619.20 - $62400.00/yr.
