The Role: Maintenance Technician

The work schedule for this role is Sunday - Tuesday with every other Saturday 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM.

Our site in Hillsboro,OR,is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.Maintenance Technicians at this facility perform a variety of tasks including the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure.Key focus will be on safety, production equipment uptime and reliability, preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting equipment,identifyingpreventative maintenance opportunities for recurrent failures, process improvements, and support with capital and engineering projects.

WhatYou'llDo

• Establish and promote the maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions.

• Recognize and resolve safety-related issues with factory equipment or building maintenance.

• Establish and ensure compliancetodepartment safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Performpreventativemaintenance and repair on production and facilities equipment asrequiredand document work completed.

• Provide repairs of production equipment and troubleshoot equipment to resolve issues ina timelyfashion.

• Disassemble and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.

• Utilize diagnostic equipment tomonitorequipment performance, diagnose root cause, and makereliability improvement recommendations.

• Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.

• Identifyareas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failures.

• Work as a team or independently as the tasks require.

• Support projects and help improve the manufacturing process.

• Support site facility infrastructure repair and maintenance such as minor painting, plumbing, and carpentry.

• Assistin the installation of minor building infrastructure.

WhatWeSeek

• Education & Experience:Associates/Technical Degreewitha minimum of 3 years of experience in direct equipment maintenanceorequivalentyears of experience with proven exceptional results.

• Ability to read andunderstand equipmentmechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.

• High levelof attention to detail.

• Good mechanicalaptitude.

• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and how to diagnose issues within these systems.

• Electrical experience in both high and low voltagesystemswhichincludes 12v, 24v, 120v and480v systems.

• Background knowledge of pneumatic systems and how to troubleshoot issues, knowledge of Parker and SMC systems preferred.
