Manager, Cyber Engineering at Sysco

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Cyber Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and support of critical cybersecurity tools ensuring these tools are effectively integrated, operational, and continuously improved.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and upgrades of cybersecurity tools
• Respond to and resolve support tickets, tool-related incidents, and integration issues in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed documentation of tool configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers in managing a portfolio of security tools
• Support audit and compliance activities by providing tool data, reports, and documentation
• Lead tool evaluation, procurement, and implementation projects
• Manage vendor relationships, including support escalations, contract renewals, and roadmap discussions
• Develop and execute strategic plans for tool deployment, lifecycle management, and integration with enterprise systems

Qualifications

Education Required:

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field

Education Preferred:

Experience Required:

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role

Experience Preferred:

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role

Licenses/Certifications Required:

• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent

Technical Skills and Abilities

• Proven experience deploying and managing DLP, proxy, endpoint, and cloud security tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience responding to tool-related support issues.
