Manufacturing Engineer at AGSI, LLC

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer will support both operational and development programs to enable and deliver zero-defect projects. This role is responsible for implementing robust, capable manufacturing process technologies across materials, tooling, fabrication, and assembly within an aerospace composites environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop technical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges. Provide engineering support for production integration and vendor-related issues. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate non-conformances. Design and implement tooling and production planning using standard ME tools. Support product development, quoting, tooling, configuration changes, and first article development. Deliver measurable results aligned with program and value stream goals. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain strong working relationships. Drive continuous improvement through Lean initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. U.S. Person status (Citizen, Green Card holder, refugee, or asylee) per ITAR requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aerostructures (metallics and/or composites). Strong continuous improvement mindset and results-driven approach. Ability to work independently across diverse manufacturing environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience mentoring or coaching team members. Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and sound judgment. Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
