Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing and developing manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency and product quality. This position involves applying engineering principles and lean manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline production workflows.
  • Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Conduct statistical analysis of production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead projects focused on continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility.
  • Utilize CAD/CNC technologies for process design and improvement.
  • Provide training and support to production teams on new processes and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in production planning and project management.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Experience with CAD/CNC preferred.
  • Nice to have: Experience in furniture manufacturing or related industries.
