Our Client designs, manufactures, and supplies a wide range of environmental filters and filtration systems for commercial, industrial, and healthcare markets. SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving products and optimizing production processes to ensure they are maintained and adequate to support the company’s business operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary for the position. Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement activities on the production floor Analyze and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and automation to enhance efficiency and quality. Track KPIsand performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement on the production floor. Lead initiatives to reduce costs, minimize waste, and drive sustainability efforts. Conduct root cause analysisto troubleshoot and resolve production challenges. Oversee project timelines, ensuring successful execution and delivery. Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Design, develop, and refinetooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance productivity. Pursue and support cost reductionand sustainability initiatives Support new product introduction (NPI) and localization projects to streamline production Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusiveand may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BSin Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or Automation preferred. Degree in Engineering or technical discipline required 1 – 4 yearsas a manufacturing engineer or similar technical role Must Havemechanical and electrical aptitude and technical experience in a manufacturing environment. Must Be Ableto read and interpret technical documents such as drawings, schematic diagrams, operating instructions and manuals. Experience with Lean Manufacturing processes. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus, but not required Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCADfor technical drawings and design. Strong analytical reasoning, communication, and project management skills. Knowledgeof automation software, robotic systems, SCADA and/or industrial computer networks, HMI’s, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Able to assist trouble shooting of complex automated systems, effectively communicate issues and recommend possible solutions. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities. Proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to innovate and streamline processes. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Proficientwith PCs, Microsoft Suite and data management systems Ability to speak English effectively to management and employees of organization. Travel Requirements: Up to 15% travel may be required (domestic and international). WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
