Overview: Lathe Machining Operation Top Skills: CNC Programming, G-code Continuous improvement CAD/CAM is a plus Education and Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience with Bachelors High school and Associates with more years of experience Masters is ok No cap on years of experience About this Role - Hands on support of 20 lathes in a fast paced environment with demanding tooling requirements. - Ability to setup Computer Aided Machining (CAM) from ground up Typical task breakdown: - Review consumable use from previous day - Modification to CNC programs - Generation of component prints based on CMM results Interaction with team: - Daily communication with Operations, quality, and onsite leadership - Communicate concerns to upstream process owners Work environment: - Onsite Factory: 100% - Shop Floor: 50% Office: 50% Technical Skills Manufacturing Safety GD&T CNC Programming Additional Technical Skills (Required) - Insert Geometries and impact on process - Insert Post Processes and impact on process - CAD/CAM experience - M&G code editing (Desired) - OKUMA OSP/ Fanuc lathe experience - 3D Modeling experience - PowerBI - Microsoft PowerApps Soft Skills (Required) - Self-Starter - Communication to all level of employees - Conflict resolution
