Manufacturing Quality Control Manager at Keymark-Florida
Job Description
We are a large domestic metals manufacturer that supports the residential and commercial building industry with facilities across the Eastern United States. Our multi-shift 24/7 manufacturing plant in the Central Florida area is recruiting for a Quality Control Manager. Highly competitive annual salary compensation will be dependent on experience, along with an attractive benefits package.
Your duties in this position include leading all quality assurance and control activities across the two facilities at Keymark Corporation Florida. This role will ensure that all aluminum extruded profiles meet internal specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards. In this role, you will promote continuous improvement activities across all manufacturing and finishing processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Quality Assurance & Control
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to ensure compliance with customer
- specifications and requirements, industry standards, and manufacturing best practices
- Oversee material inspections at various check points, in-process checks, and final product quality
- Analyze and interpret quality data, test results, and inspection records to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure adherence to quality standards related to dimensional tolerances, mechanical properties, surface finish, and final visual finish post coating
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and manage the quality control team of inspectors
- Implement and monitor a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality ownership across all departments and their respective employees
Documentation
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits, corrective actions, and customer complaints
- Develop and implement a calibration/verification program for measuring and testing equipment
Customer Interaction & Compliance
- Act as the primary contact for customer quality audits, complaints, and technical questions or concerns
- Work closely with customers and sales team to understand evolving quality specification expectations and resolve quality issues as they arise at customer locations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards
Process Improvement
- Work with production teams to implement root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Lead a cross-functional quality improvement initiative based off internal production process and procedural audits.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office environment and the ability to learn our ERP system
- Familiarity with reading two dimensional prints and the ability to understand industry standards and specifications
- Will be required to complete OSHA 30 course
