Pay: $24/hr + $100 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated Marine Painters to join our team at a shipyard specializing in barge repair located in South Point, OH. As a Marine Painter, you will be responsible for performing bottom paint applications on barges. Prior experience in marine painting is necessary as training will not be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

- Apply bottom paint on barges to ensure protection and preservation of the vessels.

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.

- Utilize painting equipment and tools efficiently for a high-quality finish.

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of painting projects.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in marine painting is necessary as training will not be provided..

- Ability to follow painting instructions and guidelines accurately.

- Strong attention to detail and precision in paint application.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new painting techniques and procedures.

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Working Hours: 60+ hours per week
