Marketing Intern at Worthington Steel

Marketing Intern- Columbus, Ohio (Onsite)

We are looking to add a Marketing Intern to the team. This individual will work as part of a team in promoting and positioning Worthington products. This position will assist in the areas of sales enablement, brand awareness, demand generation, market research and customer insights. The ideal candidate has excellent writing and communication skills, can easily juggle multiple assignments at once, and can effectively interact with all levels of the organization.

Please note: This internship is based in Columbus, Ohio. Candidates must be located in or able to commute to Columbus for the duration of the program. Housing is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects and stakeholder approvals.
• Creating and updating advertisements, spec sheets and web copy.
• Updating media lists.
• Researching and reporting key learnings.
• Reporting program results and web analytics.

Desired Experience

• Excellent writing skills a must.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Adobe Creative Suite skills a plus.
• Ability to juggle several assignments at once, to work independently to achieve completion.
• Strong people skills, interacting both internally and externally.
• Minimum of two years college completion.
• Marketing, Communications, or Journalism majors preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, Ohio.
