Responsibilities Actively involved in executing experiments and data collection Spend most of their time on LC/MS sample preparation and data acquisition. Performing sample preparation methods will include protein, metabolite, and lipid isolation from various biological samples, including but not limited to tissue, cell pellets, urine, stool, and blood. Perform and monitor LC/MS instrumentation and data acquisition. Responsible for analyzing and organizing the LC/MS data collected into various visualization software applications that will be sent to the primary investigator. Additional duties will include monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting the LC/MS instrumentation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related area 4+ years of relevant experience Experience working in Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS) or other analytical chemistry-based sample preparation is preferred.
