Job Description
Master Data Administrator – SAP Location: Houston, TX (On-site) Duration: 12+ Months At iSphere, we believe strong data leads to strong decisions. We’re looking for a Master Data Administrator who’s passionate about accuracy, organization, and collaboration — someone who can keep critical SAP vendor and customer data clean, compliant, and consistent. This role is all about connecting the dots — ensuring information flows smoothly between Supply Chain, Finance, and other key business units. If you thrive on structure, take pride in data integrity, and enjoy improving processes that make life easier for everyone downstream, this is your kind of challenge. What You’ll Do Maintain SAP vendor and customer master data, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with company policies. Review incoming data requests for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards. Develop and maintain data quality control procedures and perform regular audits to ensure data consistency. Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Accounts Payable to support vendor and customer onboarding, updates, and validations. Maintain tax, banking, and compliance documentation with meticulous attention to detail. Identify and drive data cleansing, standardization, and process improvement initiatives. Monitor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key metrics to ensure timely data processing. Support internal and external audit activities, providing accurate documentation and insights. Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track data quality, process health, and efficiency improvements. Collaborate across departments to ensure proper controls, risk management, and conflict-of-interest prevention. What You Bring 5–10 years of SAP Vendor and/or Customer Master Data Maintenance experience. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred). Familiarity with master data governance principles, risk management, and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — especially Excel and reporting tools. Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and interact confidently across multiple departments and levels of leadership. A high level of professionalism, ownership, and attention to detail — the kind that makes people trust your work. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. Certification in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) or Master Data Management (MDM). Process improvement or continuous improvement experience. Why iSphere For over 25 years, iSphere has connected great people with great opportunities — and we do it with personality. We work hard, we collaborate, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Here, you’re not just maintaining data — you’re helping organizations operate smarter, faster, and more effectively. If you love bringing structure to complexity, we’d love to bring you onto the iSphere team.
