Mechanical Assembler at Tradesmen International, LLC

Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers for projects located in and around Sun Valley, CA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Mechanical Assembler, eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Job Scope:

• Using hand tools to secure screws into block-off plates and lids

• Operating ball valves to turn water and air systems on/off, maintaining 10 PSI

• Observing for pressure drops and leaks after water fill

• Wiping down and inspecting sheet metal boxes for weld integrity

• Handling parts weighing 30–45 lbs (up to ~70 lbs after assembly; heavier when filled with water)

• Tilting and sliding units to remove air pockets and inspect weld seams

• Electrical splicing wires, cramping wire, connectors, installing bulk heads, etc.

• Assembling frames for underwater lights
• Assembling large cabinets
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• • Standard PPE
  • Experience in the field
  • Aerospace Assembly Experience
  • Ability to read blueprints
