About the Role:
The Mechanical Assembler lays a critical role in the durable goods manufacturing process by assembling components and subassemblies into finished products with precision and efficiency. This position requires a strong attention to detail to ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications. The assembler will work closely with team members and supervisors to maintain production schedules and optimize workflow. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly role.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret assembly instructions or blueprints.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and understand basic measuring devices (tape measure and calipers)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in durable goods manufacturing or a related industry.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime if needed.
- Certification in assembly or manufacturing processes is a plus.
