Mechanical Commissioning Lead at FootBridge

Job Title: Mechanical Commissioning Lead Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 6+ months Rate: $75 - $85/hour-1.5x OT Per Diem: $186/day Hours: 60 hours per week Project: CHP Plant Key Responsibilities: Support the Site Manager with site-related activities. Oversee and coordinate teams involved in commissioning mechanical systems. Ensure commissioning activities align with safety standards and project protocols. Participate in site safety reviews, meetings, and inspections. Contribute to claim management, documentation, and contract variations. Enforce project standards and manage risks effectively. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Collaborate with contractors on all mechanical aspects of the project. Monitor invoicing, receivables, and project timelines. Communicate project updates to leadership and address issues promptly. Inspect mechanical commissioning for compliance with standards, safety, and quality. Review and approve contractor commissioning methods, schedules, and documents. Conduct construction-to-commissioning walk-downs and manage punch lists. Provide input on equipment installation and ensure adherence to requirements. Oversee technical advisors and commissioning procedures. Address deficiencies, propose solutions, and manage cross-team interfaces. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Owner’s Rep or EPC Team member on similar projects. At least 7 years of site experience in power or utility projects. Expertise in construction and commissioning for power projects.
