Overview

Responsible for building, directing, and evolving the governance, execution, and measurement model for Navy Federal's paid media operations. Serves as the operational anchor for paid media execution, bridging marketing strategy, ad technology, quality assurance, privacy, and data governance to ensure seamless coordination across internal teams, agency partners, and platform stakeholders. Drives consistency, scalability, and accountability in how media campaigns are tagged, launched, tracked, and measured, supporting an insight-driven, privacy-responsible, and future-ready marketing execution model.

Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce execution standards, RACI models, and best practices across campaign intake, tagging, trafficking, and QA to ensure consistent and scalable media execution
  • Lead strategic initiatives that optimize media operations across multiple business units
  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting frameworks to communicate media performance and operational effectiveness
  • Proactively manage key operational KPIs (tagging accuracy, issue resolution time)
  • Own the QA checklist, pixel uptime tracking, campaign readiness scorecards, and remediation workflows to enable accurate conversion and signal tracking
  • Ensure Consent Management Platform (OneTrust) and Global Privacy Control logic are enforced in QA and tag management processes, partnering with Risk and Legal teams to uphold pixel governance and compliance
  • Oversee campaign tracking intake and trafficking workflows, collaborating with Partner Liaison, Analytics, and Creative teams to ensure data readiness and consistency
  • Act as a central coordination point across Marketing Ops, Analytics, Martech, and Media Strategy, leading issue triage, tooling enablement efforts, and operational cadences
  • Drive the roadmap for tagging QA tools (e.g., ObservePoint), intake templates (e.g., Workfront), and metadata documentation to support efficient media operations
  • Serve as a thought leader in media governance, contributing to enterprise-wide standards and innovation in adtech/martech practices
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Finance, Communications, or related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • 7+ years of experience in digital media operations, marketing technology, or related fields with increasing leadership responsibilities
  • Experience building and leading a Media Operations function or center of excellence, demonstrating ownership of operational frameworks and strategic maturity
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex media operations programs at scale
  • Expert-level understanding of media governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and enterprise data architecture
  • Significant experience presenting senior leadership and influencing strategic decisions through data-driven insights
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with media tagging and monitoring tools such as Adobe Launch, ObservePoint, OneTrust, or similar platforms used for campaign QA and privacy compliance
  • Significant experience with ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, DV360) and associated trafficking requirements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills across technical and business teams
  • Proven track record managing workflows, intake processes, and operational QA initiatives

Desired Qualifications


  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Finance, Communications, or related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Background in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries
  • Working knowledge of media data lakes, campaign reporting, and BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Advanced knowledge of Navy Federal's policies, objectives, procedures, products, and services
  • Ideal candidate will have in-house experience in media operations
