Licensed Aesthetician / Front Office Coordinator

Full-Time | La Jolla Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center – La Jolla, CA


Join the premier team at La Jolla Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center, a leading cosmetic and medical dermatology practice led by Dr. Azadeh Shirazi, Board-Certified Dermatologist. We’re seeking a polished, professional, and sales-driven Aesthetician / Front Office Coordinator to deliver exceptional patient care while supporting both our aesthetic services and front office operations.


About the Role:

This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end medical environment and has a passion for skincare, patient care, and sales. You’ll be the face of our practice—providing warm, attentive service to every patient and helping them feel confident and cared for from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with aesthetic treatments (based on experience and training)
  • Welcome and check in patients, manage appointments, and handle check-out procedures
  • Educate patients on skincare and treatment options
  • Support skincare and service sales through personalized recommendations
  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email with professionalism
  • Process payments, deposits, and product transactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and luxury front office environment


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of aesthetic or medical spa experience preferred
  • Proven sales and customer service experience required
  • Current California Aesthetician License
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organization skills
  • Professional, polished, and team-oriented demeanor
  • Experience with EMR systems (ModMed a plus)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with:

Dermatology procedures and clinical settings

Performing facials, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels

Knowledge of skin and skincare products

Proper maintenance and cleaning of aesthetic equipment

Assisting physicians as needed

Documentation and charting in medical or electronic medical records


Compensation & Benefits:

  • $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
