Locations: Modesto, CA (overseeing two clinics)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Workweek Option: 4-day schedule available once established

About the Role
We’re seeking a clinically driven and leadership-oriented Medical Director to oversee two occupational medicine clinics in Modesto, CA. This role is ideal for a physician who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to blend direct patient care with operational leadership.
The Medical Director will spend the majority of time treating patients, with additional responsibilities focused on quality improvement, team development, and clinic performance. This is a unique opportunity to lead with impact while maintaining a strong clinical presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and foster an exceptional patient experience
- Lead clinical operations and collaborate with therapists and specialists to drive optimal outcomes
- Supervise clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with APC supervisory requirements
- Cultivate a professional, collaborative, and high-performing clinic environment
- Partner with leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain relationships with clients and payers
- Manage staffing levels and contribute to clinic budgeting and performance metrics
- Promote a culture of safety, quality care, and recognition
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted medical license
- DEA and state dispensing license (required prior to start date)
- Eligible to participate in Medicare
- Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA-recognized specialty preferred
- FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain
