We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients. Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate person if necessary
- Schedule appointments and maintain multiple calendars
- Building rapport with patients
- Manage/Write emails from staff email account, memos, and letters and distribute them appropriately
- Contribute to company reporting
- Maintain an organized filing system
- Update, and maintain relevant office procedures as needed
- Assist with maintaining a clean and inviting environment
- High school diploma/GED required, Associates degree or administrative training is preferred
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position
- Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
