Local nonprofit seeking a motivated professional to serve as Administrative Assistant with duties that include scheduling, interacting with patients and their families, and fundraising. Medical scheduling is a primary duty of this position. You must love puzzles! Also in this role, you will assist in implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns that drive engagement and support for our mission. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills in donor relations, event planning, and community outreach while contributing to meaningful causes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, extremely organized, detail oriented and a strong communicator. The candidate will support the administrative and therapy teams as well as families we serve. This company is fast-paced and growing, a desire to learn and grow with the company is a necessity. This position provides excellent benefits. Duties include scheduling clients, answering phone calls, handling parental needs, etc. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling of clients
  • Perform duties using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Administratively support the Directors, Admin Team, and Therapy Team
  • Manage office supply orders, office mail, and organization
  • Filing and archiving
  • Greet families and support as needed
  • Answer phone calls/emails and provide information about services
  • Connecting with potential donors
  • Developing marketing campaigns for fundraising activities
  • Recruiting, training and managing volunteers to help with outreach efforts
  • Recording donations, sponsors and other fundraising details
  • Monitoring the success of donation campaigns
  • Generating awareness about the organization
  • Researching potential sponsors and donors
Required Skills
  • Previous experience in Admin and/or general business field, prefer Medical experience
  • Exemplary planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding and experience with medical practices
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and basic office technology
  • Self-motivated, reliable with a high level of flexibility
  • Desire to be a team player and strong contributor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of marketing and sales strategies
  • Comfort with technology, including donor management systems
  • Interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of nonprofits and regulations surrounding donations
